Jules has been divorced from her ex-husband Leon for five years, but she still works alongside him at Gunk, the grotty student nightclub he owns in central Brighton. She spends her nights serving shots and watching, from behind the bar, as Leon flirts with students on the dancefloor.

What books will I receive?
Each month, we set out to uncover a book that we believe deserves of greater attention. Other than a focus on fiction, we have no guidelines on the types books we feature, but we always aim to provide a diverse range of engaging literature. Why join our Book Group?
We know as well as you do that the amount of wonderful books published each month can feel overwhelming, so we hope to help you make your reading decisions! We’ll also provide you with extra insights into the book, including author interviews, in our bespoke printed zine.
How does it work?
All you need to do is decide whether you’d like to receive a book every month or every quarter, and you can leave the rest to us. We will send your book towards the beginning of the month, with the quarterly books being sent in March, June, September, and December.
